All applicants and alumni must understand the exclusion period rules and obligations. Please carefully read section 8.7 (two-year exclusion rule) in the Australia Awards Scholarships Policy Handbook.

If you, as an Australia Awards alumni, wish to visit Australia for up to 3 months during your exclusion period, we can assist you in obtaining a Letter of No Objection from the Australian Embassy. Please email us for more details. 

If you plan to visit Australia for longer than 3 months, you should send your request to [email protected] at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Canberra.
