As Grade 1 students are about to start school next week with a new curriculum, the Districts Education and Sports Bureaus (DESB) have been very busy liaising with every primary school in the country to distribute the new textbooks and teacher resource packs
To support the DESB spreading the message that the new Grade 1 learning materials were available at the districts, a radio campaign was launched on National Radio on 9th August and has been relayed on the loudspeakers since 20th August.
Up to date, 67% of the schools have already collected their materials! Quite a success and a sign of the commitment of all educational staff to ensure a good start of the school-year.
